A Little Bit

Lover,
Tell me a story
Let the wind turn the pages
Lover,
Make me a drink
Let the liquor stir my dreams
Lover,
Make me a snack
Let it nourish my soul
Lover,
Take me somewhere
Let us go so far, that we never come back
Lover,
Let's look at the stars
Wish upon them and have it come true
Lover,
Play me a song
I'll dance for you like those girls in Montreal
Lover,
Go to sleep
For it has been a busy day

My last good decision
Was to love what I have
No more no less
If more is to come
I will appreciate it
If less
Still blessed

Love,

f.

I can see you
But you can't see me
You just posted for a billion
But only God knows the truth
A smile in the mirror in a nightie
But you cried yourself to sleep
A picture at the gym post workout
But you threw up all your food
A candid of you and your first love on a date
But he left you on the curb
A photo of your firstborn
When the man wanted no child
Another erotic tale
With nobody to share your bed
I remember feeling low
But I did not post it
Because no one wants to be
The selfless in the selfie
Will you connect or disconnect
Among the lost loves or a found love
and the new stars or one that's fading away
We all want to reach out
With pictures, words or both
Just will it end in a ping
or a knock

Lavender Dreams

Walking on a carpet of flowers
So it begins
My dream of Lavender
This city girl had only found the scent in candles
Or with a hint of vanilla
In a bath
Now I wear it, on my skin
So it could leave traces on my pillow
Lavendula, I love you
I rather you make me calm
On a busy day
I rather you make me sleep
On a noisy night
So pretty this nard
Not just ornamental
Let the envious rose have her thorns
