Remembering the Daises

I hide from you in a field of daisies

Playing " I love you, I love you not. "

Falling asleep on a pillow of white petals

Will a pure love find me?

Like a daisy, I am open for the light 

Closed to the darkness

And if I die waiting amongst the daisies

Remember that I provided as much warmth

as these little suns

Possessions possessing people

One day it will stop working

Do you fix it or throw it away?

You have grown attached 

And you spent so much and don't want to spend more

Someone told you to just find another

And hope it doesn't happen again

Some people have insurance for one more

Just another cost that gets higher if you use it

Others just ignore the fact that it's damaged

And suffer through it

With a heavy heart
